The Big Water Town Marshal currently provides law enforcement and a municipal justice of the peace handles local misdemeanors.

Fire Protection

Fire protection is provided by a well-equipped and trained volunteer fire department housed in a 2-bay station next to the Town Hall.

The ambulance is staffed with several EMT’s and covers the Eastern Kane County area.
