NOTICE OF VACANCY

BIG WATER TOWN COUNCIL / GLEN CANYON SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT BOARD

The Town of Big Water is accepting letters of interest from qualified individuals who wish to be considered for appointment to fill a vacancy on the Big Water Town Council. The individual appointed to this seat will also serve on the Glen Canyon Special Service District Board.

APPOINTMENT MEETING

Wednesday, April 15, 2026
7:00 p.m.
Big Water Town Hall
60 N Aaron Burr, Big Water, UT 84741

At that meeting, the Town Council will interview each qualified individual whose name is submitted for consideration and may appoint a person to fill the vacancy.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Be a registered voter of the Town of Big Water
  • Have been a resident of the Town of Big Water for at least 12 consecutive months immediately before the date of appointment

REQUIRED MATERIALS

Letter of Interest must include:

  • Full Name
  • Address
  • Contact Information
  • Why the applicant is interested and how they can contribute
  • A statement confirming the applicant meets the statutory qualifications

  • Available by request from Town Hall
