Help Shape Recreation and Community Projects in Big Water

Do you care about community events, recreation, and making Big Water an even better place to live? The Town of Big Water is seeking interested community members to serve on the Community Recreation and Enhancement Advisory Board. This board helps encourage community involvement and provides recommendations on recreation, events, and enhancement opportunities throughout the community.

Members serve two-year terms.

 

 

What the Board Does

The Board organizes and supports community events, recreational programs, and public enhancement projects; provides recommendations on recreation and community initiatives; encourages public participation and engagement; identifies potential funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and partnerships; and collaborates with local organizations, businesses, and residents to strengthen community programs and amenities.

Important Note

This Board serves in an advisory role only. It may make recommendations to the Town Council, but it does not establish policy, make official decisions, approve expenditures, or enter into contracts on behalf of the Town.

Submit a Letter of Interest to the Town Clerk by email at [email protected] or in person at 60 N Aaron Burr, Big Water, UT 84741.

Letter of Interest Should Include

your full name and contact information, a brief description of your interest in serving, any relevant community involvement, experience, or qualifications, and your interest in recreation, community events, or enhancement projects.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE

April 7, 2026 by 3:00 p.m.
