🚛 Residential Trash Service is Changing!

Beginning at the end of September, residential trash service in Big Water will transition from Republic Services to Pro Waste.

Following a competitive Invitation for Bids process, the Glen Canyon Special Service District selected Pro Waste to provide residential collection services. This change allows us to lower residential trash rates while maintaining the quality of service our residents expect.

📅 Important Reminder

Wednesday, September 30 will be the last residential trash pickup by Republic Services.

After your trash has been collected, please leave your Republic Services trash can(s) out or readily accessible until it has been picked up. Pro Waste will deliver your new trash container as part of the transition.

✅ Your new Pro Waste can will have a serial number assigned specifically to your utility account.

📋 Please take a moment to review your utility bill to be sure you are being billed for the correct number of residential trash cans. Only active residential trash accounts will receive new Pro Waste containers.

🗑️ Residents with 2-yard residential containers will now see their trash charges on their Glen Canyon Special Service District utility account. Residential customers will no longer receive a separate bill from Pro Waste.

🏢 Commercial customers are NOT affected by this change and will continue to be billed directly by their current provider.
